As one of Virginia’s longest continuing county fairs and Southwest Virginia’s largest fair venues, the Virginia-Kentucky District Fair has proudly featured fun and excitement for all ages since 1913! Along with a week full of everyone’s favorite carnival rides by Drew Exposition, the fair also offers something new and exciting daily! Whether it’s the mud-slinging, off-road Mud Bog Competition, ...the clashing and crashing of the Demolition Derby, the fun filled evenings of great Horse Shows, or a night spent enjoying concerts by chart topping musicians, the Virginia-Kentucky District Fair has something for you! The fair also presents a Talent Competition and the Miss Virginia-Kentucky District Fair Scholarship Pageant. McDonald’s Farm is open daily featuring exhibits of agriculture, arts, crafts, needlework and clothing, home economics, and youth division exhibits. Kids Day provides a day of one-price rides for children under 12, along with activities such as face painting and magic shows.
