Do you need your motorcycle license? Want to get into the first classes of the 2017 season? Southwest Virginia Community College offers Weekend "Learn to Ride Safely - Motorcycle Riders Class." Our next class is scheduled for April 21, 22, and 23, 2017. The course is a three day course and the first day meets from 6PM-10PM, second and third day meets from 8AM-5PM.
This course is recognized by the Virginia Motorcycle Safety Foundation and includes a combination of classroom and "hands-on" riding instruction in a controlled environment. Learn to balance the performance of power, handling, fuel economy and freedom of the open road that motorcycling provides. Benefits also include identifying your present riding skill level and increasing your skill development and confidence.
Tuition cost is $148.75 for in-state residents, covers use of motorcycle and helmet, fuel, classroom materials and endorsement testing. Successful completion of class waives the Department of Motor Vehicles road test and/or the written test required to obtain your "M2" motorcycle operator's endorsement on your drivers license.
