I create one of a kind pendants and beads using polymer clay. Each piece is created using traditional techniques such as Mokume Gane, Mica Shift, and Sutton Slice. No two pieces will ever look the same because of the techniques used. Mokum Gane creates patterns by layering colors of clay and manipulating the stack before cutting very thin slices. Mica Shift creates a three-dimensional effect in a flat, smooth sheet of clay. Sutton Slice produces various colors and textures with a backfill technique.
